1. Understand everyday life
Identify people, routines, spaces and exceptions. Decide which repeated effort is worth removing and which actions should remain personal.
2. Verify the property
Inspect electrical and mechanical infrastructure, network coverage and existing controls. A digital questionnaire cannot establish technical feasibility.
3. Agree on authority
A routine may be automatic within limits, ask for approval, offer advice or stay manual. Privacy and outage behaviour are documented alongside normal operation.
4. Design, test and hand over
Define the scope and equipment only after verification. Test agreed scenarios, exceptions and fallback modes. Documentation, training and support responsibilities must be specified in the project agreement.
